Can I enter more than one project?

Yes. You can enter more than one project in one or both categories.

Can I enter the contest after the clock has started?

You can apply. By applying, you acknowledge that you could be at a disadvantage for having less time to work.

Do we retain 100% ownership of the code we write?

Absolutley. 59DaysOfCode doesn’t take anything from you, nor do our sponsors. If you make a deal, that’s on you!

Do I have to live in the Central Valley to enter?

Not to enter, no. But to be awarded a prize, you must demonstrate a material presence in Fresno, Madera, Kings, Tulare or Kern County before you are given the prize(s).

There are n of us on a team. Can you split the prize between us?

No. We leave the splitting to you. When your project is accepted for competition, you must designate a single awardee.

I hate Git, and I see that you require that I use it to compete. Can’t I use SVN/Hg…etc?

Sorry. We’re only supporting a single source control system this year. Please address your complaints to Irma so that we can take them into consideration for future competitions.

I’ve never used Git or Github. Do you provide support?

Officially, no. But Github provides awesome documentation. We’ll add some useful links in the coming days and weeks.
