Why we’re doing this
We believe the Valley has the talent, the role models, and the capital founders needed for technology ventures in our area to succeed. We want to provide a catalyst for the next generation of great entrepreneurs and help you take risks, think big, and succeed. Participating in 59DaysOfcode will give you enormous validation and access to a world-class network of advisors to help you with every aspect of your business, plus a direct route to seed and venture capital.
How it happened
In collaboration with local professionals, the competition came to life as part of a multi-pronged approach to growing and cultivating technology entrepreneurship in the Valley. The conversation began with a simple question, “Does the Valley have the talent to sustain high-tech business?”.
Who we are
Spearheading 59DaysOfCode are Irma L. Olguin Jr of Geekwise and Travis Sheridan of the Central Valley Business Incubator. While Travis and Irma are the two most publicly known to put on the event, the list of “Thank-yous” is a mile long. Here are a few:
